Dodge Charger: STARTING AND OPERATING / ENGINE BLOCK HEATER — IF EQUIPPED
The engine block heater warms the engine, and permits quicker starts in cold
weather. Connect the cord to a standard 110-115 Volt AC electrical outlet with a
grounded, three-wire extension cord.
The engine block heater must be plugged in at least one hour to have an adequate
warming effect on the engine.
The engine block heater cord is routed under the hood on the driver side of the
vehicle. It has a removable cap that is located near the air box.
WARNING!
Remember to disconnect the engine block heater cord before driving. Damage
to the 110-115 Volt electrical cord could cause electrocution.
If the engine fails to start after you have followed the "Normal Starting" or
"Cold Weather Operation" procedure it may be flooded...
A long break-in period is not required for the drivetrain (engine, transmission,
clutch, and rear axle) in your new vehicle.
Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500 km)...

The LaneSense button is located
on the center stack below the Uconnect display.
To turn the LaneSense system on, push the LaneSense button (LED turns off). A
“LaneSense On” message is shown in the instrument cluster display.
To turn the LaneSense system off, push the LaneSense button once (LED turns on)...
For programming transmitters in Canada/ United States that require the transmitter
signals to “time-out” after several seconds of transmission.
Canadian Radio Frequency (RF) laws require transmitter signals to time-out (or
quit) after several seconds of transmission – which may not be long enough for HomeLink®
to pick up the signal during programming...
