Dodge Charger: HOOD / Closing The Hood
Hoods equipped with gas props are closed from the point where the props no longer
hold the hood open.
WARNING!
Be sure the hood is fully latched before driving your vehicle. If the hood
is not fully latched, it could open when the vehicle is in motion and block your
vision. Failure to follow this warning could result in serious injury or death.
CAUTION!
To prevent possible damage, do not slam the hood to close it. Lower hood
to approximately 12 inches (30 cm) and drop the hood to close. Make sure hood is
fully closed for both latches. Never drive vehicle unless hood is fully closed,
with both latches engaged.
To open the hood, two latches must be released.
Pull the release lever located underneath the driver’s side of the instrument
panel.
Reach under the hood, move safety latch to the left and lift the hood...
Other information:
Adjust vehicle temperatures hands-free and keep everyone comfortable while you
keep moving ahead.
Push the VR button. After the beep, say one of the following commands:
“Set the driver temperature to 70 degrees”
“Set the passenger temperature to 70 degrees”
TIP:
Voice Command for Climate may only be used to adjust the interior temperature
of your vehicle...
Pressing the Drive Mode Set-Up button on the touchscreen within the Performance
Control screen indicates the real-time status of the various systems. Pressing the
Sport Mode Set-Up, Drag Mode Set-Up (1320 only), or Default Mode Set-Up button on
the touchscreen allows the driver to configure their individual performance control
and to see how those configurations affect the performance of the vehicle...
